Jeff, a 26 year old multi-time cancer survivor, is a graphic design student at Art Institute of Phoenix. He is a 22 year survivor!!! A quiet fighter and unassuming hero, Jeff prefers not to be in the limelight. But, to me, he represents the courage, strength, and hope of all cancer warriors.

When knocked down repeatedly, he chooses to get back up! He chooses to fight! It’s easy to get knocked down and not so easy sometimes to get back up. Cancer heroes do just that. . . they get back up. . .fight . . . and strive to live the life they choose. As we end September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, please keep all our heroes, every cancer warrior, and the family, friends, and health care workers who help them fight, in your thoughts and prayers.
