CCN’s September 17th Hero is Nate!
Nate is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Leukemia. His mom says that cancer is just a part of his life, they have been used to it. “Wish it didn’t have to feel normal” is what his mom would like to say to cancer. Cancer has proven Nate to be brave and strong. He likes to play soccer and throw the football around as well as going to his grandma’s house to play in the pool with squirt guns and swim. He would like to be an inventor when he grows up and build a planet, because with so many people, we need a place to go.
