CCN’s March 12th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Andrea!

Andrea is 3 years old and loves playing with princesses, Play Dough, and coloring. She was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. Cancer has been hard on her family especially her brothers who have helped her get through treatment. It has also been hard on the family just accepting that Andrea has cancer. The cancer has totally changed their way of seeing life. She has been so strong during treatment and is a happy child who loves to go to the playground, swim and play with her brothers. Her grandparents mean alot to her because she knows they are waiting for her at home. They help her to forget about chemotherapy. She doesn’t like cancer and her saying is “I’m not sick, I’m OK.”
