CCN’s September 29th Hero is Victoria!
Victoria just celebrated her 5th year anniversary of being a cancer survivor on Sept. 14th! She still has some side effects but she is doing well. Cancer doesn’t just change the survivor but also the whole family. You lose friends and make new friends. Victoria at age 8 would like to become a policeman or a teacher. She loves to learn and knows that policemen keep people safe. Her superpower would be to be able to fly. She loves wearing a cape around the house. Someday she would love to go to Disneyland and have breakfast with the princesses. Her mom’s advice to other cancer survivors is, “Make every day a new day or a better day. Smile!”
