CCN’s February 23rd Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Sidney!

Sidney was diagnosed with Leukemia and missed a lot of kindergarten but she passed!  She is now 10 years old and her cancer has taught her that she can do anything she sets her mind to.  She met a lot of dogs in the hospital and has a collection of their cards.  The most important person in her life is her family dog,a cockapoodle, named Sparkey.  Sparkey came from her Grandma and is important to Sidney because he cheers her up and makes her feel good.  Their foster cat, Mama Jessie, also makes her feel happy.  What would she like to say to her cancer?  “I beat you!  I’m still alive!”
