CCN’s September 14^th Hero is Latavia!

Latavia has been diagnosed with fibromatosis and has had a tough cancer journey.  She is 13 years old and singing brings a lot of joy to her world.  She loves Disney songs especially Mona and likes to sing for her parents and family.  She and her family have enjoyed CCN’s events such as It’s All About You and Sun Splash.  When you have family and CCN “It makes everything fun.”  Someday she would love to get a baby Pug which is her favorite dog.  Her words of advice to other cancer survivors are, “Stay strong.  Be true to yourself – you may have people who tease you.”
