CCN’s September 5th Hero is GUILLERMO!!!

Guillermo is 17 years old and a sophomore in high school! He is a leukemia survivor who loves playing sports, especially soccer! Cancer has taught him to never give up — when you keep your mind to something it is amazing what one can do. He would like to tell other kids that he knows it may seem hard at times, but set your mind to it, and you can do it! The ability to help others is one superpower Guillermo would like to have and I’m thinking that Guillermo already possesses this superpower!! Guillermo’s shares that his biggest hero is Luis, his brother. Since the passing of their father, Luis has worked hard for the family and takes care of Guillermo and his mom. Hats off to both Guillermo and Luis for definitely being heroes in our eyes!
