CCN’s September 28th Hero is Darecee!

Darecee was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of 6 and is now 9 years old.  She is fighting cancer and doing a good job of it.  Cancer took away her playing time and has affected her in so many different ways.  She can’t explain it but just wants to be the kid she once was.  She loves playing dress up with her sister and playing with friends outside.  Darecee loves Taylor Swift because she likes her music and her makeup.  She also has great dance moves.  Darecee is special because she loves her hair and is a big sister.  She would like to tell cancer, “Leave me alone cancer! I’m kicking you in the butt!”
