CCN’s September 25th Hero is Sophia!
Sophia was diagnosed with ALL. She spent many days in the hospital and couldn’t go to school for a year. She is 9 years old and some of her favorite things are her dogs, family, and friends. The special people in her life besides her family are her teachers Mrs. Oliver, Ms. Young, and Ms. Cardani. She enjoys doing gymnastics because she is flexible and she likes Disney World because she loves Disney! When asked what makes her special she says, “My contagious smile!” She would like to say to cancer, “You made me go through a lot of hard times but also made me a stronger person.”
