CCN’s September 21st Hero is Leah!
Leah is a sister to a cancer survivor and is 13 years old. Her sister was diagnosed with ALL and after the diagnosis Leah felt like she had to grow up faster than other people her age because she had to help out more at home. The important people in her life are her mom, siblings, and some friends. She loves going to the Olive Garden because she loves Italian food and she loves to eat. She plays volleyball and football for fun and enjoys cheer-leading, make-up, and being on her phone. She is special because she likes to help out her family and others when they need it. She would like to tell cancer to go away and never come back.
