CCN’s February 19th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Abel!

At the age of 16 one of Abel’s favorite things to do is ride quads.  He was diagnosed with cancer in Sept. 2003.  Cancer affected his childhood in many ways.  He was not able to attend school in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.  He felt like he wasn’t growing up like a normal boy.  Today he enjoys hanging out with friends and family.  He has gone to Universal Studios and it is one of his favorite places.  He enjoys making people laugh and smile.  He would like to tell other survivors to keep doing what you are doing and don’t give up!
