CCN’s September 13th Hero is Miranda

Miranda’s cancer journey has been a long one.  She was diagnosed in May of 2013 and has had 2 brain surgeries and one hip replacement.  She also had to be placed on home bound schooling.  She is 16 years old and has a Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor.  If she could travel anywhere in the world it would be Italy and her favorite food is pasta because it makes her feel better.  Something special she has done before a treatment was to take a helicopter ride over  the gulf coast in Florida. If she could say one thing to her cancer it would be “You’re the devil!”
