CCN’s February 20th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Sophia!

Sophia was diagnosed with ALL and is now 9 years old.  After being diagnosed with cancer she was not able to go to school, play outside, and had to be isolated from her friends.  Her teachers Mrs. Oliver, Ms. Cardine, Ms. Young, and Ms. McBride were very helpful during her treatment.  Sophia loves her dogs Coco and Kobe and enjoys spending time with them playing  in the creek and the woods when they go to Payson.  She has been in gymnastics for 2 years and she is very flexible and she likes to practice with her sisters on the trampoline.  Her “contagious smile” makes her special.  Cancer made her go through a hard time, but it made her stronger.
