CCN’s September 27th Hero is Quinn!
Quinn is 15 years old and was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She and her family are grateful for the community support that they have received. She has taken the positive from her experiences and the opportunities that have been given to her. Adventure and exploring are some of her favorite things. Traveling to Spain has made great family memories. The ocean is one of her favorite places where she enjoys surfing and being in the water. Quinn is very active and plays lacrosse. She comes from a family of lacrosse players, including her mom who coaches. Quinn’s advice about cancer is, “Be yourself!” Her mom’s advice is, “Don’t beat yourself up for forgetting, kids, family and friends will be there.”
