CCN’s February 12th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Kylee!
Kylee is 7 years old and was diagnosed with an astrocytoma brain tumor. Kylee says, “I go to the hospital every Tuesday and get poked. I’m not scared because all of the doctors are really nice and give me really neat prizes.” This has led her to want to become a nurse so that she can help people. Kylee would love to have the same superhero powers as Maleficent has, like turning into a dragon and poofing into smoke. Her advice to other cancer survivors is to live each day to its fullest and tell the ones you love that you love them. Make sure you kiss your puppy!
