CCN’s September 1^st Hero is Maddie!

Maddie is 6 years old and was diagnosed with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) at the age of 18 months.  She has been cancer free for 5 years now!  When she grows up she would like to be a veterinarian because she loves dogs and other animals.  On Maddie’s “bucket list” is she would like to go swimming every day and also a go on a trip to Disney World.  Her superpowers would be to have snow and ice powers like, Elsa, in the movie Frozen.  What would she do with those powers?  Make an ice castle, of course!  Her advice to other cancer survivors is, “Good luck!”
