Esmerelda or bettern known as LaLa, this vivacious, 8 year old, 3rd grader loves being at school where she is a chapter book reader! Among her favorites are Junie B. Jones and Magic Pony! Fashion and makeup help make her style known; coloring is one of her favorite activities.

LaLa is still in the treatment phase for Neuroblastoma and taking each day with courage and questions. She is learning more about her cancer by becoming inquisitive about the why’s and how’s of everything that is going on in her body. She is loved immensely by her cat Pepito!
