Our February 22 Run To Fight Superhero is Andrew!! Diagnosed on Feb 25 2014 with neuroblastoma, Andrew has successfully completed his treatment for cancer but has had difficulty with an autoimmune disease affecting his coordination.

Our February 18 Run to Fight Superheroes are Jimmy and Jacob!! Jimmy, 11 and Jacob, 6 are the amazing brothers of Mia who is currently battling a brain tumor. They are Superhero Siblings!!
Our February 17 Run To Fight Superhero is Dalilah!! Dalilah was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma just a month after her third birthday in August 2015. She has a brother, Wiley (9), and two sisters, Tamyra (13) and Tasha (8).
Our February 16 Run to Fight Superhero is Kevin! Kevin is a fun loving child who was diagnosed with leukemia in January of 2012. Kevin has a younger sister Aleena, and he says that she makes him strong, she always reminds him to keep going and never give up!
Our February 15 Run to Fight Superhero is Courtney! Courtney has been a child life specialist for 8 years. She has worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and is presently working at Thunderbird Children’s.
Our February 13 Run to Fight Superhero is Marisol! Marisol is a very active, 6 year old, girly girl who was diagnosed with Leukemia on October 22, 2013. She started her final phase of treatment in December and says her strength comes from her large extended supportive family, including her siblings Bella (9), AJ (11), and Jalyssa (7), and her many cousins!
Willow was diagnosed with Leukemia on July 30th. The super power she would love to have is called Willow Power, and her favorite superhero is Wonderwomen! Keep on spreading your sunshine Willow!
A kindergartener this fall at Franklin East Elementary, 5 year-old Grant loves school; especially PE and recess, as well as library, music, and computers.
Isaac’s mom, Julie, was concerned about the ear infections, body pains and fevers that her son seemed to continually have and at a routine Doctor appointment in August of 2011 they did a blood test. Just one day before his 2nd birthday, Isaac was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Our February 12th Run to Fight Superhero is Marcia! Marcia is a social worker at PCH at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders; she has been working there for 13 years! Marcia loves meeting so many fascinating people; she was born in Rockford, Illinois.
Our February 14 Sweetheart and Run to Fight Superhero is Ariano!! Ariano is a one year old fighter currently undergoing chemotherapy for liver cancer. Ariano had a liver transplant in December 2014 due to a mass on his liver.
Our February 10th Run to Fight Superhero is Hunter! Hunter is a spunky young fellow who loves Pokemon. He is now 8 years old and was diagnosed at just three and a half years old.
Our February 9 Run to Fight Superhero is Deshawn! Deshawn is a quiet young man, who at 16 years old loves sports and video games. He was thrilled with the Patriots win over the Seahawks for the Superbowl and would love to see the Cardinals earn the right to play one of these years!
Miles is an adorable 3 year old diagnosed with stage 4 Nueroblastoma in October of 2014. He is currently undergoing his 5th Chemo treatment and will be having a stem cell transplant around the end of February. He is our superhero! You can read Miles story at Lets Go Miles on Facebook. We are having a big fundraiser for him on the 14th at Macaroni Kids Market.
Our next Run to Fight Cancer Superhero is Alejandro (otherwise known as ALEX!). Alex is 5years old TODAY! Happy Birthday, Alex! LOVES Superheroes!
“My grandsons, Armani and Georgio, keep me going,” says Ernesto, “I would do anything for those boys!” And he has, along with their grandma, his wife of 47 years. Together they are raising the boys.
Jocelyn is my 6 year old Princess Warrior fighting Leukemia A.L.L. She was diagnosed on July 30, 2014. She has inspired many with her strength, happiness and positive outlook on life.
Kim, a child life specialist at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, has been a caregiver to many children with cancer, blood disorders and genetic issues for over 13 years.
Our February 7 Run to Fight Superhero is Zoey!! Zoey is 8 years old and loves to play outside with her friends. Diagnosed with Leukemia this past September, Zoey’s friends and her stuffed bear, Red, help her to be strong.
Jeff, a 26 year old multi-time cancer survivor, is a graphic design student at Art Institute of Phoenix. He is a 22 year survivor!!! A quiet fighter and unassuming hero, Jeff prefers not to be in the limelight. But, to me, he represents the courage, strength, and hope of all cancer warriors. When knocked down repeatedly, he chooses to get back up!
