Joaquin is 3.5 years old and was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma on July 1st, 2014. Joaquin is a brave soldier who has undergone many procedures pre and post diagnosis.
His first two weeks in the hospital were hard but he enjoyed having his family and the doctors and nurses visiting him. Joaquin had a lot of trouble with the chemo and medications but is now getting back to normal, he is now three weeks away from the maintenance phase!
Joaquin cannot wait to go back to school to see his friends and all of his teachers, in spite of his cancer treatment, he is still a wonderful and energetic young boy. He loves to play rough, box with his brother go for walks and play with dogs, he loves the therapy dogs that come to the hospitals for visits.
Although he has two more years of treatment, but he says “I got this!” His mommy and daddy are the ones that make him strong and his favorite superhero is Iron Man! His favorite things to do is watch movies and cartoons, play sports, read and go on road trips! If he can have any super power in the world it would be to punch real hard!
Keep on going Joaquin!
